Big Society, Better Outcomes was a Big Success
Now there's another reason to remember the 5th of November. This year we held our most successful conference in history of MegaNexus. Over 100 people attended and benefited from hearing some fantastic speeches from a range of speakers.
The conference was held in the magnificent surroundings of the Old Refectory of University College London. Attendees came from many different sectors including National Government, Local Government, Charities, Housing Associations, Police, Probation and HM Prison Service. Despite coming from very different organisations everyone was interested to find out how to deliver more for less.
Delegates learnt about the new Social Impact Bonds, how reoffending is being reduced in London, how business is being helped by Academia, how women are being helped in North Wales and how people are getting help with housing services. The common theme running through all this is MegaNexus and NEO 3D helping each organisation deliver increased outcomes for less resources.
The day was planned to ensure that there was ample time for everyone to make new contacts with organisations from different sectors but who share common concerns. Many attendees said that as a result of attending the MegaNexus Annual Conference they had new ideas to take back to their organisations.
