The North London Pledge – Crossing the Bridge
Combating unemployment and worklessness are key factors to addressing the current economic climate, where the employment rate is currently 72.2% (ONS report Jan ’10 ). As part of a cross-borough initiative, Haringey, Waltham Forest, and Enfield councils are rolling out their support services through the North London Pledge 2, an 18 month long project funded through the London Development Agency (LDA).
Waltham Forest & Haringey Councils have both been using MegaNexus’ NEO platform to manage a range of local delivery projects that assist their out of work residents. Enfield Council delivers their JOBSnet provision and has recently started using the NEO case monitoring and tracking features to manage and report the success of this project.
Through the use of NEO’s Bridging and Clustering features, the three boroughs’ independent systems allow them to work together securely and transparently on the North London Pledge 2 project. By utilising the skills & strengths of the tri-borough delivery partnership through agreed Sharing and Referrals on their NEO Bridge, the boroughs are able to work together to deliver effective support for clients whilst also delivering cost saving efficiencies.
