Haringey Guarantee – The MegaNexus Video

By working with local colleges, employment services and skills training providers, Haringey Council are able to effectively deliver support services and employment to the local people of Haringey. Haringey’s ‘Guarantee Scheme’ supported by MegaNexus currently delivers:

• Jobs to the unemployed people of Haringey

• Training and work placements for local people

• A skilled, motivated work force for local businesses

 

MegaNexus, with the support of the Haringey Guarantee have created a video that introduces both MegaNexus as a company and the achievements of MegaNexus’ work with Haringey Council. MegaNexus specialise in the provision of case management solutions for organisations that look to reduce worklessness, tackle barriers to work and find employment for society’s hardest to reach. MegaNexus have used their vast experience to provide Haringey Council with a solution that minimises time spent on administration and gives the necessary support to both jobseekers and staff members at the Haringey Guarantee project. The video created successfully captures both the functionality of the system that MegaNexus have implemented, as well as the great range of benefits it provides to the Haringey Guarantee.

 

With the help of MegaNexus’ solution, Haringey are now able to more effectively: ‘Guarantee’ local residents’ quality advice and guidance, ‘Guarantee’ jobseekers that they will be provided with professional organisations and ‘Guarantee’ local businesses that the scheme will produce committed, trained workers.

The video created is demonstration of the strong partnership between MegaNexus and Haringey Council. MegaNexus have successfully provided a case management solution to the Haringey Guarantee since April 2009 and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship with Haringey Council.

The video is just one of many new exciting developments in the partnership between MegaNexus and the Haringey Guarantee. Currently MegaNexus are developing a front end interface to supplement the already successful management system. This will enable public users in Haringey direct, easy access to the range of support services the Haringey Guarantee scheme provides.

MegaNexus’ Scottish Stronghold

 
 

MegaNexus are pleased to announce that the Calman Trust in Scotland will soon be implementing a NEO solution.

The Calman Trust is a service for young people in the Highlands who are leaving home and moving on.

The MegaNexus solution will enable young, local people to approach the Calman Trust for 1-1 support. The solution will provide a system that can facilitate Calman Trust in the provision of advice and information to local residents about housing issues or leaving home. The system will also have the ability to network with partner organisations, to highlight various training activities and to link people to courses that may prepare them for work - such as tools to improve their literacy skills.

 

The Calman Trust aim to serve the needs of young people throughout the community and MegaNexus are delighted to be able to provide a solution that will enable them to do so. MegaNexus are the market leader for the provision of system solutions in Scotland and we are delighted The Calman Trust is to join our Scottish family.

Client photos

 MegaNexus have developed a client photo feature whereby you can store an image of the client (with their permission) alongside their case file in your system. The client's image can be uploaded and changed as and when required but is not a mandatory field. 

Sometimes, when looking at a long list of clients you may have multiple clients with the same name, so finding the correct person can be difficult. Thanks to the photo feature all you have to do is click the status icon alongside the clients name and this will produce a popup box detailing the client's full basic details as well as the photo that you have uploaded, enabling you to locate the required client both quickly and easily.

QWEST

 

QWEST is a European Social Fund project, led by The University of Wales. Working in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly and Torfaen, the project aims to help people toward employment, training and further learning.  QWEST (Quality Work Employability Skills and Training) will work with individuals to add value to the other approved strategic bids. Using innovative approaches QWEST will engage participants who may have debilitating health conditions, on a journey toward employment. 

 

NEO is supporting the administration of the project with the aid of an experienced team from The Innovation Centre in Ebbw Vale.  NEO have worked in conjunction with QWEST to develop an MIS system to track all outcomes for the WEFO project. This enables the project to report on all data required, including cross cutting themes, soft outcomes and destination data. 

 

The IDP (Individual Development Plan) is a tool which allows Development Officers to record and monitor all activities with the participants - including initial needs analysis which can be continuously amended. Participants are also able to access the system to view their IDP and progress.

 

Development Officers and Managers are easily able to track achievements and report on monthly activities.  These access rights can be set, allowing only certain staff to access certain information or data. NEO QWEST is able to inform participants of future training events and as the system is web based, is accessible anywhere, at any point.
